Course Overview

This course explores advanced genealogical research strategies used to investigate difficult or incomplete historical records. Learners examine complex sources, analyze conflicting evidence, and develop systematic approaches for solving challenging research questions.

Through guided investigation and case-based examples, learners practice evaluating historical evidence, tracing individuals across multiple records, and developing strategies for overcoming common genealogical “brick walls.”
